Weed and Feed Liquid (Tank Mixed)

Goal: Simultaneously control broadleaf weeds and deliver rapid nutrition in a single tank mix application for a quick, healthy, weed-free lawn.

Target: Premium home lawns or sports fields needing fast results with minimal application effort, suitable for regions like Brisbane, Melbourne, or coastal NSW.

Cycle: 6 weeks (Late Autumn–Winter, May–July).

Week 1 (Tank-Mixed Weed Control and Fertilization):

·       TPL Essence (Liquid) + Bow and Arrow Herbicide (Liquid):

·       Mixing: In a sprayer, add 100 mL TPL Essence and 50 mL Bow and Arrow to 5 L water to cover 100 m². First, fill the sprayer halfway with water, add TPL Essence, agitate, then add Bow and Arrow, and top up with water. Conduct a jar test (mix small amounts in a jar; check for clumping or separation after 15 minutes) to ensure compatibility before large-scale mixing.

·       Application: Apply evenly over 100 m² using a sprayer with a flat fan nozzle. TPL Essence (14-3-5 with trace elements) provides balanced nutrition for rapid lawn vigor, while Bow and Arrow (MCPA 300 g/L, clopyralid 20 g/L, diflufenican 15 g/L) targets broadleaf weeds like bindii, clover, creeping oxalis, white clover, plantain, capeweed, and cat’s ear. Apply when weeds are actively growing. Avoid mowing 3–4 days before and after to ensure leaf absorption.

Week 3 (Supplemental Fertilization):

·       TPL Essence (Liquid): Mix 50 mL in 5 L water, apply over 100 m² using a sprayer. This reduced-rate application reinforces nutrition to support lawn recovery and fill gaps left by dying weeds. Water lightly (2–3 mm) to aid absorption.

Week 5 (Follow-Up Weed Control, if needed):

·       Bow and Arrow Herbicide (Liquid): For persistent weeds (e.g., creeping oxalis with bulbous roots), mix 50 mL in 2–5 L water, apply over 100 m². Skip if weeds are fully controlled. Avoid application if rain is expected within 4 hours or if lawn shows stress (e.g., yellowing). No watering-in required.
