WHY THE WINTER BUNDLE IS A MUST HAVE
Winter can stress your lawn with cold snaps, low light, or nutrient loss, leading to faded color or patchy growth. The Winter Bundle fights back with a powerful trio:
- TPL Essence (14-3-5): A liquid fertilizer packed with nitrogen for rich green color, potassium for cold-weather resilience, and trace elements for year-round turf health across all soil types (sandy, clay, or loamy).
- TPL Ultra Kelp (+AA): A 35% Tasmanian Bull Kelp concentrate loaded with auxins, cytokinins, gibberellic acid, alginic acid, and amino acids. It boosts root and shoot growth, enhances cold and drought tolerance, and improves nutrient uptake.
- TPL Auxin: A growth regulator with 0.075 g/L indole-3-acetic acid (IAA), 0.075 g/L naphthalene acetic acid (NAA), and Vitamin B1. It promotes early root development and leaf formation, strengthening your lawn against frost and setting it up for spring success.
Built for Australian Winters
- All-Region Performance: From Melbourne’s frosty clay soils to Perth’s sandy dunes or Brisbane’s mild coastal vibes, this bundle suits Kikuyu, Couch, Buffalo, or Zoysia.
- Winter Protection: Guards against frost, temperature swings, and low light, keeping your turf healthy and dense.
- Spring Ready: Builds deep roots and thick turf for faster green-up and vigorous growth when warmer weather hits.
- Simple Application: One monthly spray delivers pro results, perfect for busy Aussie homeowners.
Application Guidelines (in ml per 100 m²)
For a 100 m² lawn (e.g., a small backyard or front yard), here’s how to mix and apply the bundle:
Mix Rates (per 100 m²):
· TPL Essence (Liquid): Mix 200 mL in 5 L water, apply over 100 m² using a sprayer. This 14-3-5 fertilizer with trace elements provides balanced nutrition to maintain lawn health and prevent nutrient deficiencies during low-growth periods
TPL Ultikelp (Liquid): Mix 120/150 mL in 5 L of water and apply over 100 m² to boost root health and stress resistance, aiding recovery in harsh Australian conditions.
TPL Auxin: Mix 50 mL in 5 L of water and apply over 100 m². TPL Auxin Plus++ contains root hormone stimulants (IAA/NAA) and Vitamin B1 to promote early root initiation and leaf formation, critical for rebuilding damaged turf.
-
-
- Adjustment: Start with 50 mL/100 m² (0.5 mL/m²) for safety, especially if the lawn is stressed or in cooler months. After 2–3 weeks, assess root growth and lawn density. If sparse or in spring/summer, increase to 75–100 mL in 5–7L water/100 m² for enhanced root stimulation. Test on a 10 m² patch first to gauge response.
- Grass-Specific: For Kikuyu/Couch, consider 100 mL/100 m² in active growth; for Buffalo, cap at 75 mL/100 m² to avoid sensitivity.

Mixing Instructions:
- Use a 5-10 L backpack or pump sprayer
- Fill sprayer halfway with water.
- Add 120-150 ml TPL Ultra Kelp, then 50 ml TPL Auxin, then 200 ml TPL Essence.
- Top up with 4-8 L water (enough for even coverage over 100 m²), agitate thoroughly to prevent settling.

-
Application Method:
- Foliar Spray: Use a fine nozzle (e.g., TeeJet foliar tip) for quick leaf uptake. Apply in the morning when temperatures are below 29°C to avoid burn. Let dry for 1-2 hours before watering or mowing.

- Frequency: Apply monthly or as required from late autumn to winter (e.g., May-August in VIC, NSW, TAS; year-round with adjustments in QLD, WA for warm-season grasses). Pause during full dormancy if growth stops (e.g., Kikuyu in colder regions).
- Jar Test: Mix small amounts in a jar with water to confirm compatibility. Check for precipitation after 30 minutes. If clear, proceed.
- Check Labels: Follow TPL Auxin’s label for exact rates, as growth hormones are potent and overuse can cause excessive growth or stress (e.g., on Buffalo or fine-leaf grasses).
- Test Small Area: Apply to a small patch and monitor for 48 hours to ensure no adverse effects.
- Clean Equipment: Rinse sprayers thoroughly to prevent kelp/auxin clogging. Use a 100-micron filter if needed.
- Even Application: Spray uniformly to avoid overapplication, which could burn turf due to Essence’s nitrogen.
